ABOUT THE SHIRASAWA MUSEUM OH ART
Minoru Shirasawa practiced obstetrics and gynecology in Tatebayashi City, Gunma Prefecture. Takuji Shirasawa, the current museum director, transformed Minoru Shirasawa's adjacent studio into the Shirasawa Museum of Art,
a general incorporated association aimed at establishing it as a local cultural asset. The museum displays around 50 of his works. Visitors can also explore the second floor dedicated to recreating his studio environment. We invite you to immerse yourself in each artwork.
